About the course
Concept art is a drawing (draft or finished) that gives the idea of something.
For example, you need to make a character, before modeling, or designing it finished, you need to have the concept and make a quick drawing to define shape, size, proportion, aspects, colors, to serve as a guide. Thus, Concept art is the "draft" of the idea.
Whenever you create a guide for you to work with, this guide will be your concept art.
The IADC Concept Art course/module was divided into 2 modules. Created for artists who want to develop remarkable and unforgettable characters, whatever the market.
Course Objectives
The entrant will study how to interpret a descriptive text received for the development of people, objects, animals, etc.; development techniques for creating heroic or villainous characters, using basic shapes; how to architect supporting characters; how to use textures to differentiate materials and clothing.
Develop environment for the story, emphasis on the study of perspective, light, shadow and framing of scenes and textures. Creation of vehicles, weapons, equipment and objects; realistic props designating a unique concept art.
prerequisites
Have completed the Basic Design course/module;
Dedicated and set aside time for exercises outside of class hours;
Be very imaginative;
Be over 15 years old;
