About the course
The Basic course/module was developed to introduce the student to essential techniques and fundamentals for those entering the Graphic Arts.
With introductory level, it is a prerequisite for students to develop basic design concepts such as organic and inorganic construction scheme, light and shadow, application of perspective, human anatomy - face and body.
Course Objectives
The basic drawing course/module will provide the student with the opportunity to develop drawing analytics from sketching using geometric structures to finishing with graphite.
During the course, the student will acquire the ability to create three-dimensional illustrations with the support of perspective and applied light and shadow techniques, thus enabling the creation of scenes, characters and people.
